Midwives interested in registration in Newfoundland and Labrador are advised to visit the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals (NLCHP) for detailed information about entry to practice. The NLCHP is the regulatory body for Midwives in Newfoundland and Labrador and in conjunction with the CMNL, is responsible for regulating the practice of Midwifery under provincial legislation.
The NLCHP, in partnership with the College of Midwives of Newfoundland and Labrador, has developed e-learning materials pertaining to the practice of Midwifery in Newfoundland and Labrador.
