The Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board works to ensure that the people of the province have access to the best possible pharmacy care.

Standards of Practice for Canadian Pharmacists are developed by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) and adopted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board.  The Board is required ensures that ALL practicing pharmacists maintain a competency to practice direct patient care.

Continuing Professional Development: Active participation in continuing professional development is an essential component of the maintenance of professional competency.
