Eastern Regional Health Authority (EH) invites expressions of interest for a full-time fee for service Neuroradiologist.

Eastern Health is the largest integrated health organization in Newfoundland and Labrador and is accredited with exemplary standing, the highest possible rating, from Accreditation Canada.  It employs over 13,000 employees and provide services to a regional population of more than 300,000.  Eastern Health has unique provincial responsibilities for tertiary level institutional services including Diagnostic Imaging. 

The successful candidate will join a group of 25 Radiologists working at the Health Science Centre (HSC) using state-of-the-art technology.  HSC is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University affording opportunities for research and teaching.  The Radiology Group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Angio-interventional, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and general radiology.  The successful candidate will be expected to work mainly in neuroradiology and neurointerventional radiology with additional general radiology duties.  On-call coverage is required and shared equitably within the group. 


To be considered candidates must hold a medical degree and have successfully completed a residency in diagnostic radiology as well as fellowship training in Neuroradiology with neuro interventional radiology training and be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent).  Additionally applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
