This opportunity is available immediately.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

- The successful candidate will work as a part of a Team of physicians and nurses to provide high quality Primary Health Care services.

- Your primary duties are to provide full scope of practice at the facility.

- The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care. Patient and Worker safety at the Labrador Health Centre is a priority; as such, the successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to partner with all team members by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.

- Coverage of on call commitments, including weekends and holidays.

- To be considered, candidates must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador; the criteria for licensure are outlined on the CPSNL website (www.cpsnl.ca)

- Additionally, the successful candidate must satisfy credentialing requirements of Labrador-Grenfell Health.

- Earned Medical Degree

- Work experience is an asset

- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance

- A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador
