Infectious Disease Specialist (1 YEAR LOCUM – 2 Opportunities)

Eastern Health invites expressions of interest for an Infectious Disease (ID) Specialist working in the Division of Infectious Disease within the Medicine and Child Health Programs for a one-year locum.

The ID Specialist will join a dynamic inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation service, providing teaching at undergraduate and residency levels and weekly infectious diseases rounds. Participation in the Pediatric and Adult Infectious Diseases call schedule will be required and is shared equitably within the group.

Applicants must hold a Medical Degree, an FRCPC (or equivalent) in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and be eligible for licensure in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador. Royal College subspecialty certification in Infectious Disease or its equivalent is also required.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for locum specialist salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador.
