Western Health is seeking the services of a General Internal Medicine Specialist - Gastroenterology.  Responsibilities include participation in the General Medicine on call schedule and providing inpatient and office based general medicine consultation service. The position provides the office support at the Medical Consultants Group clinic.  This clinic is a dynamic group of Internal Medicine Specialists in Corner Brook.  The group provides a high volume clinic service with provision of General Internal Medicine and Sub-Speciality services to a population of approximately 78,000.  Medical Consultants Group offers:

• Modern and efficient office space with reception and support staff.
• Business, fnancal and operational management.
• Office access to PACS and MEDITECH systems.

Duly registered Gastroenterologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador and the ability to meet the credentialing requirements of Western Health’s Discipline of Medicine.  We are seeking candidates with the appropriate sub-speciality training.  ERCP skills are an asset but not required.

Fee For Service as per the current Medical Care Plan (MCP) fee schedule.
